What do I need?

Diapers
Deciding how many diapers you need comes down to two factors. First, how often do you want to have to wash your diapers? Second, how old is your baby? Newborns go through a lot more diapers on a daily basis than a toddler so the age of your child will play a role in how many diapers you chose to buy. For a younger child I would recommend a minimum of 18 diapers. For an older child you could likely get by on 12 if you were prepared to wash quite frequently. My son is 2 1/2 and we currently have 21 diapers in our stash. This allows me to wash them every three days.

Inserts and Doublers
Most diapers sold at One Posh Baby include the inserts that make them absorbent. A doubler is an extra insert that you can use to "double up" the absorbency of the diaper. I highly recommend purchasing some hemp doublers for night time or long stretches out of the house when you think your baby will need extra absorbency.

Wipes
Depending on your personal preferences you may also chose to use cloth wipes over the disposable ones. This is usually more convenient anyway as you can just throw the dirty wipe in with the dirty diaper.

Wet Bags
A wet bag is great for storing dirty diapers and come in a variety of sizes. I recommend at least one small one for when you travel out of the house, but in a pinch a grocery store bag can work just fine too. Larger ones can be used to store dirty diapers at home and often have a loop so they can be hung on a door knob. In my house we just use a plastic trash can lined with a wet bag so that when it is laundry time all the diapers and the wet bag can go into the washing machine and I don't have to wash out the trash can every time.

What kind of diapers do you use on your child?

My son has used and worn all the brands that I sell on One Posh Baby and I stand by all of them. I do not carry any brands or styles that I don't recommend completely!

What do you wish you knew before you started cloth diapering?

There are just two things that I wish I had known before I started cloth diapering. First, that cloth diapers can be more bulky than disposables, so that you may need to size up on some styles of pants. Second, that cloth diapers are addictive! Cloth diapers come in some many great colours and prints that it's hard not to want them all!

Do you ship outside of Canada?

No, One Posh Baby currently ships within Canada only.

How much is shipping?

Shipping for all orders is a $10 flat rate. Edmonton orders over $25 will be delivered for free and Edmonton surrounding communities orders over $50 will be delivered free. Local pick up of course is free as well.

How soon will my order arrive?

All in stock orders ship next business day via Canada Post Expedited Parcel. That means your order should arrive within days of being placed. You will be provided with a tracking number so that you can trace your order.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. If you are not certain on your purchase, please opt to order a $20 Diaper Trial, arrange for a Diaper Party, or contact me for advice. I'd be happy to help you.
